Message in a Bottle is where you keep essential personal and medication details in a small bottle in the fridge.
Paramedics, police, fire-fighters and social services know to look in the fridge when they see the Message in a Bottle stickers.
This can be really helpful if the person you care for has a condition that can suddenly change so that they need medical help; such as diabetes or allergies. The Message in a Bottle scheme is run across the UK by our Lions Clubs.
Here is a list of outlets for Message in a Bottle -
- Writtle Doctors Surgery
- Writtle Pharmacy
- Moulsham Lodge Doctors Surgery
- Little Waltham Pharmacy
- Tesco, Springfield Road
- Chelmer Village Chemist
- Boots, Chelmer Retail Park

Lions Responding to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine
Humanitarian Crisis in Ukraine | Lions Clubs International
The conflict in Ukraine has driven millions of people from their homes, creating a humanitarian crisis that is forcing families to search for safety and security. In this time of great need, Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) is awarding grants to make sure Lions are there to help provide immediate relief to those struggling to meet their most basic needs, and Lions around the world are uniting through kindness to help the people who desperately need it.
Find out what we’re doing, and how you can help.
